Philosophy

I paint for its own sake. The primary question is “am I having fun”, not “will this sell” or “will this help me improve”.

Rules. I only use finger or pencil-drawn shapes, that means no perfect lines. I may break this rule in the future if I find it fun.

Imperfection can be a good thing. Since we don’t have an infinite amount of time and mental energy, perfectionism always comes at a cost. I try to appreciate the countless mistakes not resolved by choosing to see them as results of an effort to find the right balance between details and the bigger picture.
